Your own library
Upload documents in .docx, .pdf, Excel, .epub, .txt and other formats into a library that is yours alone.
Text processing
Advanced search using keywords, similar words, or semantically similar phrases.
Document verification
Check a document against a chosen set of rules – required clauses, formal requirements, your own checklist – and get a list of what is met and what is missing. Rule sets are shared between users. The checked document is uploaded from your computer, does not have to be in your library, and is not stored.
Data quality checks
The same rule-based check works on data, not just prose. Upload a .csv file, pick a rule set, and the AI agent goes through it record by record, flagging the rows that break the rules.
Research
Let the AI agent put together a research report from your documents. The AI agent uses only the information contained in the documents it has access to – it never adds knowledge of its own to the results. So you can fill your own library with manuals, guides, learning materials, source code... any texts you need to find your way around.
Demo library
A separate library is available containing several dozen law codes of the Slovak Republic. Try the AI agent and ask it about topics related to the law. We'll grant you access to the library on request. Or build your own library with laws, court rulings, or other specialist texts.

About the AI model and your data
Nolan DMS Online uses an open-source AI model rented in the cloud for its AI features. To present the AI agent's capabilities as faithfully as possible, the cloud model and Nolan's own local model have similar size.
The company we rent it from runs its servers in the EU and guarantees that it neither stores user data nor trains models on it. Even so, we recommend being careful about what information you upload to the system.
The operator of Nolan DMS Online is not responsible for the contents of individual users' libraries.
Please note that the AI agent does not have to give precise or exhaustive answers. Limits apply to the number of documents it visits during its research. For broader queries, it may not manage to study every document in the library within that limit. With your own installation of Nolan, you can of course adjust these limits as needed.
In order to provide the most exact research results based exclusively on your documents Nolan's AI agent has a special check of its output built in. This check verifies resulting report against the document base clause by clause. If this check finds an ungrounded clause it highlights it in the text with an explanation why is this clause considered ungrounded. System can be switched to a strict regime when the report is not displayed to the user at all, if at least one clause is founded as ungrounded.
How to get started
- Prepare the documents (.docx, .pdf, Excel, .epub, .txt, …) you want to make available to Nolan. Ideally, gather them into a single folder that you then import into the system as a whole. Once the documents are uploaded, they are processed – depending on system load, this can take up to a few hours. The percentage of documents processed is shown next to the library.
- Once the system has processed your documents, you can search them using classic or contextual search, ask the AI model about information in the documents, and run complex AI-agent analyses over the documents in your library.
- Beyond analyses, you can ask the system to review or extend a document you supply according to a set of rules. The rules are public: if you create your own rule set, it becomes available to other users, and vice versa. The document being checked is uploaded from your computer, is not stored by the system, and does not have to be part of your library.
- With ordinary permissions, you do not have access to the system's automatic data-collection features from various sources. We do not grant administrator rights in the public version (for understandable reasons) – on request, we're happy to give you a demonstration. When you install the system in your private network you have 30-days trial period to test the advanced features of the system.
